One of the questions I am asked frequently by people who are learning to astral project is whether it is possible or even safe to fly through someone while you are astral.
Typically, when you first leave your body, you will find yourself in the same room as your physical body. You’ll fly around, maybe zoom around outside, or go visit a friend. You could also fly out into space, head to the middle of the Earth, check out what’s really going on in Antarctica, or dig around vaults and hidden locations no one is supposed to know about. Shh.
But along the way, what happens if there is a person walking around near you and you decide to see what happens if you fly right through them? Will they notice? Will it hurt them? Will it hurt you? Could you scare someone? Or damage their body by flying through them? What about animals, do they see you flying around? And the most important question, is it safe to astral project while you are pregnant? Does it harm the fetus?
Flying Through A Person
The first time I flew through a person was when I was first learning how to astral project. I was 15 years old, and around 2am I heard a noise and sensed the presence of an astral entity in my house. I separated from my body, and floated through my bedroom door searching for the astral interloper who dared invade my home.
I started flying down my stairs, got to the landing, turned the corner and that’s when I saw my father walking up the stairs. I had too much momentum to stop, so I flew right through him. I remember the feeling of flying through him was the same feeling I got when I flew through my walls or doors. There’s a merging, tingling sensation, and it feels like your energetic cells are intermingling with the physical object. That feeling clears once you get all the way through the object. It’s not super comfortable.
So when I flew through my father it felt like that. I pushed through because the last thing you want to do is stop in the middle of a person. It’s like being electrocuted or tasered. I turned around to look at him and he hadn’t seem to notice what I did.
The next day he told me he was up at 2am because he heard a noise in the house and he agreed he was likely walking up the stairs at the same time I was astral. I filed that experience away and decided not to do that again if I could help it.
Astral Projecting While Pregnant
When I was pregnant with my daughter, Emily, I was very concerned about what would happen if I left my body. Would her soul come with me? If not, would it be safe inside my body while I was gone? I made a conscious decision to avoid astral projecting while pregnant.
But I wasn’t always in control of my projections. Sometimes entities would come and drag me out of my body by my feet. And sometimes the astral separation would occur during sleep paralysis and I was ejected from my body. After experiencing this a few times, I could see that my baby’s soul was safely nestled in its body and I didn’t have to worry about disturbing her. It was actually sort of neat to see this energetic being entwined with the physical being growing in my body.
The astral cord that connects you to your body keeps your body safe while you are gone and your fetus has one too.
Projecting Around Pets
Recently I was sitting in my recliner having a lovely, restorative afternoon nap. One of my cats was happily sleeping on my lap. At some point I became aware of an astral presence in my room. It was benevolent and it seemed to want to talk to me or relay a message.
I was definitely going to project so I could talk to the presence directly, but I didn’t want to disturb the cat by flying through him. Animals appear to be way more sensitive to astral presences. So I decided to slip out the back, so to speak, and dropped away from my body. So instead of flying up and out like I usually do, I let myself sink into the chair and pop out the bottom.
I interfaced with the interesting fellow in my room who wanted to talk to me about one of my upcoming clients and gave me some insight on the clients’ situation. When I was done, I sidled back into my body sort of through the side, so I wouldn’t disturb the cat.
The bottom line on flying through physical people and physical matter is that it doesn’t seem to harm them. I wouldn’t hang out inside someone’s physical space just like I wouldn’t hang out in my door or wall because it just doesn’t feel good.
