“How can you know if a reading from a psychic or medium is valid and true? I’m asking because I’ve had many readings with other psychics and their predictions did not come to pass. Does that negate their entire reading? Or should I still believe the other parts of the reading?” – Joan
I’ve probably blogged about this topic in the past, but I do get asked this question a lot so I want to revisit it and be very clear.
The future is not set in stone. You are not pre-destined to do anything. When you incarnate here on Earth, you come with free will, which means your choices, not your destiny, determine the results you get in life.
So if you go to a psychic and ask them “What’s going to happen to me in the future?” you’re asking a question that has no definitive answer. If the psychic gives you a definitive answer like “In 2 years you will meet a man named Robert at the grocery store and get married on the beach in Hawaii with your whole family and your dogs as witnesses” then you are being given false information designed to make you happy.
I consider these “psychics” con men and women. They tell you what you want to hear so you leave the reading happy and satisfied. But when Robert doesn’t show up, despite you hanging out at the grocery store every day for 2 years, you either get mad at the psychic or worse, you feel like you screwed up your future, like you did something wrong and Robert is now married to someone else! How horribly disempowering.
These con men and women are the bane of good and legitimate psychics everywhere.
So if a psychic cannot predict the future, what good is a psychic reading?
A legit psychic tunes in to your spirit guides, higher self, and angels and asks this question, “What does my client need to do to have what he or she desires in life?”
The celestial being will tell the psychic the steps the client needs to take to be happy.
Now I don’t know about you, but I think that’s a lot more valuable than being given some ridiculous prediction by a con artist.
Imagine finding out exactly what you need to do to alter your trajectory so that you end up happier than where you are now. And yes that means you have to do some work. You can’t just sit and wait for this glory to find you. You have to climb the mountain.
The added benefit of using these awesome, legit, intuitives is that we can tune in to your posse on the other side and find out what your higher self intended for you, and remind you why you came here. We can tell you what steps you need to take to fix your career, relationships, finances, health, and more.
Please do not allow yourself to be duped by the prediction psychics who prey upon your deepest fears or desires. They are doing you a huge disservice.
If you want to know what’s going to happen to you in the future, look at the direction you’re facing. If you keep doing what you’ve been doing, you’ll keep getting what you’ve been getting.
If you want a different result, consult an ethical intuitive who will tell you what you need to change in order to alter your outcome. It’s more work than hanging a flyer in front of the grocery store that says “Are you Robert? How would you like to get married in Hawaii? Call me!” But in the end you will end up with something you want, and that’s going to be worth it.
