When you want to receive advice from your spirit guides, higher self, angels, ascended masters, deceased relatives or other celestial beings, you can either tune in to them on your own, or you can go to a professional who is an expert at tuning in to get information for you.

So when you go to a psychic you are basically asking “What do you think is going to happen if I stay on this path?”
When you go to an intuitive counselor, she will tune in to your guides to find out what path you would need to take to get what you want. Do you see the difference there?
A psychic will say “In three months I see a law suit. Sorry pal, you’re in for a rough time of it.”
An intuitive counselor will say, “Your guides are telling me that the construction you’re planning to do next week is going to encroach on your neighbor’s property. They’re not going to take kindly to that and will likely sue you. Your guides are recommending you alter your construction plans so you’re not encroaching on their land.”

A psychic will say, “Your man is going to cheat on you in 3 months with a girl he meets in a bar during a seminar.”
An intuitive counselor will say, “There is a disturbance in your relationship. Your husband feels like you don’t care about his needs any more. He is unaware of how much you have on your plate so he thinks you’re ignoring him when the reality is that you are simply overwhelmed. Your guides are suggesting you guys have a long talk about ways you can meet each other’s needs without feeling overwhelmed.”
Which response is going to help you more?
A psychic will say, “You’re going to be laid off in 6 months and it’s going to take you a year to find a new job.”
An intuitive counselor is going to say, “Your guides are telling me you’re not a strong vibrational match for this current job. If you keep ‘phoning it in’ they are saying you will end up getting fired. What they want you to do now is consider what you’d rather be doing instead so you can begin working on a transition strategy that will put you in a better job in 6 months. If you start now, then in 6 months you’ll be ready to transition to a more fulfilling path and you can leave your current job on your own terms.”

I’m writing this because sometimes my clients come to me with questions like, “Can you just tell me where I’m going to be one year from now?”
No, I can’t, because it depends on the choices you make today.
And any professional intuitive who tells you where you’re going to be in one year like it’s gospel is robbing you of the opportunity to create the life you desire.
